Kaleidoscope. French TV. 1967.
My favorite UK 60’s psychedelic band’s only known footage. Of course it’s lip-synced and not their greatest songs ever, but it’s great someone found this and uploaded it. Plus Serge Gainsbourg and France Gall are there, just hanging out. This is why YouTube would have made my head explode if it was around when it was 19. Kaleidoscope’s two LP’s “Tangerine Dream” and “Faintly Blowing” aren’t in print, but they’re easily found for free download out there and they are both fantastic.
